Hi, we’d like to introduce ourselves, Glenn Hebert and Brad Horton we own and operate Glenn’s Flower Box LLC, Louisiana based and the only local hospital gift shop management company. We would love to partner with your hospital!

 

We'd like to give you some background and history on our company. Our business started in the small Louisiana town of St. Martinville in 2019. Glenn worked many years for a well-known florist in the St. Martinville area, Mr. Bob Foti. Bob was paralyzed in a van accident in the early 2000s while delivering flowers, but he still went to work. He couldn't walk, and he had minimal use of his hands. Bob was determined to keep his flower shop open and did for 16 years even with his disability. In November 2016, Mr. Bob passed away and his flower shop closed. Glenn was very saddened by the passing of his friend and mentor but inspired by his fight. Glenn set out on a dream to open his own flower shop. In 2018, we purchased the old Veterans' Home on Main Street in St. Martinville. In December of 2019 we opened, Glenn's Flower Box! Brad grew up in a small-town grocery store, where his grandparents taught him how to run a business at a very young age. Growing up Brads grandmother volunteered at our local hospital, Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia La. Brad would often tag along with his grandmother and was fascinated by the cute little gift shop at the hospital. Reminiscing on his childhood, he would often tell Glenn when our original location is profitable - I would like to have a hospital location. Mid 2022 They went to visit a family member who had a baby at Lourdes Women’s and Children’s Hospital and noticed the gift shop was empty. Brad knew this was a heavenly sign from his sweet grandmother and that started the move into the hospital gift shops. Today we have our main location in St. Martinville, Lourdes Women’s and Children’s, Lafayette La and this year a huge achievement for us, we took over the location Brad seen as a child with my grandmother, inside Iberia Medical Center.

 

Our hospital locations are always stocked with snacks and personal hygiene supplies with a spotlight on our Louisiana Cajun heritage, we source local Louisiana wholesale vendors first whenever possible. We’ve learned we need everything a hospital guest may forget at home. Our hospital locations sell Starbucks cold coffee drinks, balloons (foil balloons only no latex) get well gifts, religious statuary, bird houses, wind chimes, jewelry, fresh flowers, small plants, stuffed animals, games, books, word puzzles. We do reset the shops for all holidays. We are extremely particular about how the shops look. Twice a year displays are changed, and the shops are reset. We’re also very mindful of our customers budgets and try to carry a budget friendly approach to most merchandise. Our hospital locations carry prearranged flowers delivered daily from our main St Martinville location. Four base arrangements are stocked daily, baby boy... baby girl and get well soon arrangements or just because. All floral arrangements come in a keepsake container and sell for $45. In efforts to always give our customers quality and affordability Glenn created a $25 version of our daily fresh flower arrangement. We always try to give back to the people who support our business. At our hospital locations we offer a 10% discount to all hospital team members, and this discount will be offered at every Glenn’s Flower Box hospital location. We sell teddy bears with our partnered hospital's logo, and we donate 100% of the profits to a charitable organization chosen by the hospital partner.
